Michael Lynn Adams Still Life Paintings
Michael Lynn Adams creates luminous paintings to express his joy in discovering unexpected beauty in things around him. With careful use of light, color, and texture, each painting reflects my emotional connection with the subject.
Michael’s still life paintings reflect his love of fresh, healthy food. Above all, it is a response to the incredible beauty of such common fruit as lemons, limes, tangerines, and the variety of color and texture in green vegetables like green onions and artichokes.
Some of Adams’ still life paintings have hidden meanings and invite you to react to them or fill in a story of your own. Tangerines on Old Books is a prime example of this. The books, all artist monographs, were gifts from his grandfather. They have great sentimental value, connecting Adams to his grandfather who was a wonderful architect, artist, and role model.
Adams’ award-winning paintings have been in many solo and group shows and hang in private and public collections in the US and abroad. My work has been featured in prestigious art magazines including Fine Art Connoisseur, American Art Collector, and International Artist.
