I love books. Not just to use them as models, but to actually read them. I have compiled this list from my bookshelves and the recommendations from several artists friends. They are all linked to Amazon for you to learn more about each.

    Oh my! Well, you have to include Aristides – Classical Painting Atelier and her Classical Drawing Atelier, and Velazquez – Techniques of Genius, and how about Da Vinci – On Painting, and for the old masters Thompson – Materials and Techniques of Medieval Painting.
