Thanks for supporting The Southern Atelier after their recent fire. I loved “Los Olivos” when I first saw it at M Gallery in Sarasota, FL some time ago. It is in (my) good hands now. I love to look at it and see new aspects of it each time–the slightly turquoise background, the vitality of the fruit, the shadows, the colors of the bowl and counter, etc. It brings back memories of the Mediterranean and the Middle East for me and it is timeless. It’s a small work, but it says a lot.

Hello Michael – I stumbled on to your site by accident – and was quite fascinated with your ‘Food and Wine’ paintings – especially ‘Sunshine Bowl’ and ‘Copper Bowl’ – maybe because of the way you have captured the metallic sheen and reflection on the bowls so well….just wanted to let you know that they are beautiful.
